You can discontinue charging the M Waterproof Battery at any
time�

You will not damage the M Waterproof Battery if it remains
charging longer than the required charging time or overnight�

It is recommended to use and recharge the M Waterproof Battery
at least once every 3 months� Please note that the M Waterproof
Battery will decrease in capacity with age, even if not in use� This
is normal behavior for all rechargeable batteries and should not
be considered a defect�

Ensure that the selected program supports off-ear listening
(headpiece microphone input)� If the program does not support
headpiece microphone input, select the appropriate program
that does� If you are unsure, contact your cochlear implant
professional for programming assistance�

Please note that you may notice a slight sound quality difference
when switching between your BTE microphone program and
your headpiece microphone program�
•
Do not open or close the M Waterproof Battery while in a water
environment�
•
Before placing the Naída CI M in the M Waterproof Battery,
visually inspect the O-Ring seal to make sure it is placed
correctly� Confirm that the O-Ring is not dry, brittle or dirty� If it is,
replace O-Ring prior to use� If damage to the O-Ring is observed
or suspected, replace prior to resuming use�
Inserting the Sound Processor in the M Waterproof Battery
The M Waterproof Battery has a lock to make sure the case is not
accidently opened, preventing moisture from entering the case and
damaging the sound processor. The lock is located on the front of the M
Waterproof Battery.
While holding the M Waterproof Battery in one hand, use your forefinger
on the opposite hand to push the lock button while using your thumb to
pull the lock away from the case.
