3.2. Preparation for operation
POSITIONING THE UNIT
Keep the unit away from any hot surfaces. Always keep the unit out of reach of
children and persons with reduced mental, sensory or intellectual functions. Place
the unit in such a way that the mains plug can be reached at any time. Ensure that
the power supply to the unit corresponds to that specified on the identification
plate!
3.3. Working with the unit
3.3.1. TURNING THE UNIT OFF/ON:
The unit contains an on/off switch, located on the main casing. Make sure the
switch is in the "0" - off position before connecting the product to the mains
supply.
3.3.2. ADJUSTING THE CUTTING HEAD BLADES
A. BEFORE OPERATION
Always adjust the pressure of the cutting head blades before operating the
machine. To do this, with the machine off, make sure that the tapered pivots
of the pressure yoke mesh exactly in the blade positioning holes (K). Adjust the
tension nut (B) of the machine by tightening (clockwise) until the first
noticeable resistance is felt. Finally, tighten an additional ¼ turn.
