Intended use
This lawnmower is intended solely
- for mowing lawns in domestic and hobby gardens,
- for use in accordance with the descriptions and
safety information given in this operating manual.
Any other use is classed as an unintended use.
The user is liable for any damage arising from unin-
tended use.
Identification plate
Position
The identification plate is located on the deflector
flap.
Note
The identification is considered as a docu-
ment. It must never be altered or obliterated.

Attaching the handle

Attention!
When folding the handle together or folding the
handle out, the cable may be damaged. Ensure
that the cable is not kinked.
Grip in the handle recess of the deflector
Î
flap B 1 and pull the deflector flap upwards until
the hook on the rear side of the casing and the
hook on the underside of the deflector flap engage
with a loud click B 2.
Then lower the deflector flap again B 3.
Î
3 The grass is easily ejected through the resulting
gap between the deflector flap and the casing
when mowing without the grass collector. You
can find more information in the section "Mowing
without the grass collector".
Now fix both handle mountings Ae to the bottom
Î
part of the handle Al, see C 1.
Attach the bottom part of the handle to the handle
Î
mountings so that it clicks in C 2. Push the
handle up to the end of the handle mounting C 3.
Slightly pull the bottom part of the handle apart at
Î
its ends and push onto the threaded screws lo-
cated on the left and right side of the casing D 1.
Then position the two washers Ag on the
Î
threaded screws D 2.
Push the threaded pins Aj into the quick-release
Î
levers Ad, until the hole is visible E 1. Hold
these tightly with finger and thumb and screw
in the quick-release levers together with the
threaded pins in a clockwise direction E 2 until
there is a gap of approximately 10 mm E 3.
Secure the bottom part of the handle, by folding
Î
the quick-release levers upwards towards the
lawnmower E 4.
Attach the top part of the handle Ak, by posi-
Î
tioning it on the bottom part of the handle F 1.
Hold the top part of the handle with one hand
and with the other hand insert the screw Ah
from outside into the hole at the left side of the
handle F 2.
Put the washer Ag on the screw from the other
Î
side F 3.
Push the threaded pin Aj into the quick-release
Î
lever Ad, so that the hole is visible. Hold this
tightly with finger and thumb and screw in the
quick-release lever together with the threaded
pin in a clockwise direction until there is a gap of
approximately 10 mm F 3/4.
Put the anti-kink protector Aa in place at the right
Î
side of the handle, together with screw Ah which
must be inserted into the respective hole G 1.
