Cleaning the lawnmower (Fig. W)
Risk of injuries due to the rotating mower
blade.
¾ Switch the motor off. Wait until the motor
blade comes to a standstill, and pull
out the mains plug before cleaning the
device.
Every time you use the lawnmower, clean it with a
Î
hand brush after you have finished mowing.
Clean the mulch flap with a hand brush at regular
Î
intervals W 2.
Attention!
Never spray the lawnmower with water or a
pressure washer.
Cleaning the grass collector (Fig. T V W)
Note
It is best to clean the grass collector directly
after mowing.
Raise the deflector flap T 1.
Î
Remove the grass collector T 2.
Î
Lower the deflector flap again T 3.
Î
Empty the grass collector W 1.
Î
Clean the fabric collection bag including the frame
Î
with water or a hand brush.
In particular, clean the area beneath the fill level
Î
indicator V 3.
Allow the fabric collection bag to dry before the
Î
next use.
Transport and storage (Fig. X)
Risk of injuries due to the rotating mower
blade.
¾ Switch the motor off. Wait until the motor
blade comes to a standstill, and pull out
the mains plug before transporting or
storing.
Secure the lawnmower sufficiently to prevent its
Î
unintentional slipping if you are transporting it in or
on a motor vehicle.
To make it easier to stow the lawnmower, you can
Î
fold the handle together X.
To do this release the two upper quick release
Î
levers together with the threaded pins X 1 and
screw them out by approximately 5 mm. When
doing so hold the top part of the handle firmly, as
otherwise you could trap your hand or fingers.
Fold the top part of the handle down X 2.

If you fold the handle bar forwards, the cable can
become damaged.

Fold both handles forwards and support them on
Î
the front wheels of the lawnmower X 4.
3 This allows you to easily carry the lawnmower via
its handle or to move it to a secure location for
storage X 5 (see arrow).
Storage during winter
Thoroughly clean your lawnmower after every
Î
mowing season.
Arrange for a specialist workshop to check your
Î
lawnmower in Autumn.
Store the lawnmower in a clean and dry room.
Î
Protect the lawnmower against rust during long
Î
storage periods in winter.
Replacing the mower blade (Fig. Y)
Risk of injuries.
¾ Arrange for a specialist workshop to
replace the mower blade.
¾ Only work on the mower if the motor is
stationary.
¾ Pull out the mains plug.
¾ Wear suitable safety gloves.
Attention!
Grinding the mower blade can result in an
imbalance. Arrange for a specialist workshop to
check for imbalance.
Note
To change the mower blade a torque wrench
with a 13 mm socket (M8) is required. Screw
tightening torque: 19–21 Nm Y.
