Type of boiler. By selecting this parameter it is possible to choose the operat-
ing mode of the type of boiler in use: instantaneous heating only boiler (0),
combination boiler (1) or heating only with generator (2).
NB: According to the selection made, also shift the jumper (JP1) on the
electronic board (page 92): position 1-2 for combination boiler or position
2-3 for heating only boiler.
Important: The boiler is already factory set, therefore this function must
only be used in case of electronic board replacement.

3.8 Automatic slow startup function with timed ramp delivery.
In the ignition phase the electronic control board carries out an increasing gas
delivery ramp (with pressure values that depend on the type of gas selected)
of preset duration. This avoids the need to carry out boiler ignition phase
calibration or preparation operation in any conditions of use.
3.9 "Chimney-Sweep" function.
When activated, this function forces the boiler at max. output for 15
minutes.
In this mode all the controls are disabled and only the temperature safety
thermostat and the limit thermostat remain active. To activate the "Chim-
ney-Sweep" function, press the Reset key for at least 10 seconds with the
boiler on Stand-by; its activation is signalled by flashing of the symbols
(8 and 11 on page 90). This function allows the technician to check the
combustion parameters. After the checks, deactivate the function, switching
the boiler off and then on again.
3.10 Heating timing.
The Nike Mini 28 boiler is equipped with an electronic timer which prevents
too frequent burner ignitions in heating mode. The boiler is supplied with
the timer set to 3 minutes. To adjust the timer setting, follow the instruc-
tions for parameter setting, select parameter (P7) and set it to one of the
values given in the relative table.

3.11 3-way valve and pump antiblocking function.
In summer operating mode (
the pump starts up at least once every 24 hours and runs for 30 seconds to
prevent the risk of the pump seizing up.
In winter operating mode (
pump starts up at least once every 3 hours and runs for 30 seconds.
3.12 Radiator antifreeze function.
If the system return water is below 4°C, the boiler starts up until it reaches
42°C.
3.13 Electronic board periodical self-check.
Parameter
During operation in heating mode or with boiler in standby, the function
activates every 18 hours after the last boiler check/feed. In case of operation
in domestic circuit mode the self-check starts within 10 minutes after the
