NOTE!
We recommend the use of ear protection if the unit is used without silencer and without
any duct connected to the outlet.
Keep the area around the filter clean and immediately remove any oil spill/oil film on the floor.

Maintenance
WarNiNg! Risk of personal injuries.
Use the necessary personal safety equipment when servicing the unit, especially when cleaning
or replacing the filter cartridges.
WarNiNg! Risk of personal injuries.
Do not stand in front of the filter outlet.
If the damper is fully open and the air flow through the filter is still too low, it is necessary to
clean and/or replace the filters. The main filters are to be cleaned when their pressure gauge, see
Figure 5, item 2 (NOM 18) or Figure 6, item 2 (NOM 28), is displaying 500 Pa. The HEPA filter
is to be replaced when its pressure gauge, see Figure 5, item 1 (NOM 18) or Figure 6, item 1
(NOM 28), is displaying 700 Pa.
7.1
Maintenance intervals
Check the following components or areas regularly, at least once a year:
• Coarse prefilters.
• Main filters.
• HEPA filter.
• Drain pipe.
• The area beneath the coarse prefilters.
7.2
Removing the filters
For the location of different parts, see Figure 5 (NOM 18) or Figure 6 (NOM 28).
To remove the main filters and the HEPA filter:
1. Switch off the fan with the lockable safety switch.
2. Wait until the fan has stopped completely.
3. Remove the service doors, see item 5.
4. Release the handles, securing both sides of the HEPA filter, see item 6.
5. Remove the HEPA filter.

6. Loosen the knobs that hold the main filters. Remove the main filters, see item 3.
7. Loosen the three (3) screws at the front of the coarse prefilters and remove the plate.
8. Remove the coarse prefilters, see item 4.
9. If required, clean the coarse prefilters and the main filters. If required, change the HEPA
filter.
10. Check the area beneath the coarse prefilters and clean it, if required.
11. Refit the parts in the opposite order, see Figure 8 (NOM 18) or Figure 9 (NOM 28).
