Heat pump water heater – TECHNICAL INFORMATION FOR INSTALLERS
4.3 Discharge of condensate
The condensate or water, which is formed in the outdoor unit during heating operation, must be eliminated, freely or
through the drain. Fix the drain connection into the hole which is located on the bottom of the unit and connect the
plastic tube with the connector. Ensure that the condensate water runs out in a suitable drain and make sure the
discharge is made without hindrance.
4.4 Electrical connections

BEFORE YOU GET ACCESS TO TERMINALS, ALL SUPPLY CIRCUITS MUST BE DISCONNECTED
The appliance is supplied with a power supply cable (should the latter need to be replaced, use only original spare
parts supplied by the manufacturer).
It is advisable to carry out a check on the electrical system to verify conformity to the regulations in force. Verify that
the electrical system can suitably withstand the water heater's maximum power consumption values (refer to the data
plate), in terms of the size of the cables and their conformity to the regulations in force. It is forbidden to use multiple
outlet sockets, extension cables or adaptors. The earth connection of the appliance is required. It is forbidden to
use piping from the water, heating and gas systems for earthing the appliance.
Prior to operating the machine, make sure that the electricity mains voltage conforms to the value indicated on the
appliance's data plate. The manufacturer of the appliance shall not be held liable for any damage caused by failure to
earth the system or due to anomalies in the electric power supply. To disconnect the appliance from the mains, use a
bipolar switch complying with all applicable IEC-EN regulations in force (minimum distance between contacts 3 mm,
switch preferably equipped with fuses).
The appliance must comply with the European and national standards, and must be protected by a 30 mA RCD.
WARNING connecting cables between the two units should not go near electrical boxes, data transmission
systems and wireless (wi-fi router) or in close proximity to other cables.
To perform electrical connections refer to fig. 3
Use this configuration whenever users do not have a two-tier electricity rate.
Fig. 5
The water heater will always be connected to the power supply network to ensure 24 h operation.
The protection against corrosion, given by the impressed current anode, is ensured only when the
product is connected to the mains.
