Never expose the device to rain or other moisture to prevent the risk of electric
shock or fire. Do not allow the device to come into contact with water or moisture.
N OTICE
Water, moisture and intense sunlight can cause irreversible damage to the device.
Use the drilling template on the last page of this instruction manual and the wall mounting kit to
mount the Fence Manager in a suitable location that meets the aforementioned criteria.
7.3 SWITCHING THE DEVICE ON AND OFF
1. Connect the included mains adapter to the connector (5) on the device
2. Insert the plug of the mains adapter into a socket that meets the requirements of the device.
N OTCIE
Malfunctions may occur if the device is operated without mains power and using
a deeply discharged backup battery. ECO mode is activated if the power supply is
insufficient (see Section 8.4). Only switch on the device once it has been connected
to the power supply.
3. Press and hold the Exit button on the touch control panel (3) for more than one second to switch
the device on.
4. Press and hold the Exit button on the touch control panel (3) again for more than one second to
switch the device off.

1. Press and hold the Menu button in the overview window or the
detail window for more than one second to open the menu.
2. Use the arrow buttons to switch between the five menu items.
3. Briefly press the Enter button to open one of the menu items.
4. Press the Exit button to leave the menu.
