9 OPERATION
9.1 PAIRING THE ENERGISER
The process of connecting two devices is referred to as pairing. The VOSS.farming Fence Manager
FM 20 WiFi can be paired with up to twelve devices. Each device has its own name.

A new pairing cannot be created if all positions are occupied.
1. Press and hold the Menu button in the overview window or the
detail window for more than one second to open the menu.
2. Select the
Pairing
confirm the selection by briefly pressing the Enter button.
3. Switch the energiser to Pairing mode. Adhere to the instructions
in the manual for the specific energiser.
4. Place the energiser in close proximity to the Fence Manager.
5. Select an empty line (
using the arrow buttons (Fig. 1).
6. Briefly press the Enter button to
confirm the selection.
The energiser will be paired
with the Fence Manager and the
display shows

Following successful pairing, a
window appears in which a number
can be assigned to the energiser
(Fig. 3).
7. Briefly press the Enter button
and use the arrow buttons to
assign a number.
8. Confirm your input by briefly pressing the Enter button.
The energiser is now paired with the Fence Manager.
9. Briefly press the Exit button to return to the overview.
The energiser is displayed in the list (Fig. 4).
10. Briefly press the Exit button to return to the previous menu.
