Intended use
The sun shade is suitable for providing
protection against direct UV radiation.
It is not intended to provide protection
against rain or snow.
The sun shade is intended for domestic
use only. The warranty becomes void if
the product is used for commercial pur-
poses.
Setting up the shade
A shade base with the following mini-
mum ballast must be used to secure the
sun shade:

1. Push the locking button 1.
2. With the locking button 1 pushed, let
the shade pole 2 slide into the bottom
pole 3.
3. Turn the shade pole 2 until the locking
button 1 locks into the opening 4.
4. Place the shade pole in the shade ba-
se (not included) and fix it in place
(see figure C).

1. Lubricate the thread 5 of the bottom
pole 3 with a few drops of lubricating
oil.
2. Insert the bottom pole 3 in the crank
casing 6 of the shade pole 2 and
screw the parts together clockwise.
3. Place the shade pole in the shade ba-
se (not included) and fix it in place
(see figure C).

Opening the shade
Please note!
– Make sure that the sun shade is ade-
quately supported, i.e. the weight of
the sun shade base is sufficient (see
"Technical data").
1. Remove the tie strap and, if necessa-
ry, the protective sleeve.
2. Slightly open the sun shade by hand
(see figure D).
3. Turn the crank 7 clockwise until the
sun shade is opened as far as you like
(see figure E).
Tilting the shade

To tilt the shade to the side, turn the
crank 7 on the completely open shade
further clockwise (see figure F).

In the highest position
1. Press the lower locking button 1 and
slide the shade pole 2 down.
2. Press the upper locking button 1 and
slide the shade pole 2 down. At the
same time, turn the shade pole 2 until
the upper locking button 1 engages in
the opening 4 (see figure G).
In the lowest position
1. Press the locking button 1 and slide
the shade pole 2 up. At the same time,
turn the shade pole 2 until the lower
locking button 1 engages in the ope-
ning 4 (see figure G).
