STARTING THE ELECTROLYSIS SYSTEM WITH pH / ORP
CONTROL FOR THE FIRST TIME
This procedure is required when the system is started up for the first time and each time that
interventions involving emptying out the pool are performed.
1. Make sure that the filter is clean
If-this-is-not-the-case,-see-"Cleaning-the-Filters".
2. Make sure that the water is balanced
To-be-balanced,-the-water-must-be-maintained-within-the-following-parameters:
pH: 7.2 -> 7.6 - Alkalinity: 80 ppm -> 120 ppm.
When-filling-the-pool-and-system-for-the-first-time,-take-care-to-correct-the-pH-value-of-the-water-added-
manually.- Proceed- to- measure- the- pH- using- the- kit- supplied.- Correct- the- pH- value- if- required,- making-
sure-to-dissolve-100-g-of-pH-minus-at-a-time,-until-the-value-is-in-the-region-of-the-ideal-level,-which-is-7.
Generally,-to-lower-the-pH-value-by-one,-it-is-necessary-to-dissolve-100-grams-pH-minus-per-1000-litres-of-
water.-Proceed-according-to-the-amount-of-water-in-the-system,-referring-to-the-specific-documentation.
3. Add salt to the water
The-amount-of-salt-to-be-added-to-achieve-the-correct-saline-level-in-the-water-is-approximately-5-kg-for-

Always use normal salt (sodium chloride) for human consumption.
4. Power up the system
Switch- on- the- control- panel- by- setting- the- main-
switch-to-"ON".
5. Start the pump
Set-the-filter-pump-switch-to-"MAN".
6. Stop chlorine production
Press-the-"STOP"-key-on-the-control-panel-of-the-
electrolysis-system-with-pH/ORP-control.
Leave operating for 24 hours so as to dissolve
the salt completely in the water before starting
chlorine production.
