12. HARNESSES FOR BATHROOM AND SERVICES IN MESH FABRIC
IM140 (available sizes S-M-L-XL)
The IM140 harness is used for lifting, transfer and personal hygiene operations. It is manu-
factured in a 100% polyester mesh fabric called Strongtex, which is reliable in any situation,
including contact with water, as well as being tear-proof and breathable. A sturdy twill fabric
belt (100% polyester) is stitched around the edge of the harness and forms a loop with various
attachment points to ensure it remains symmetrical during lifting. The belt is continuous and
stitched around the entire edge of the harness to make it stronger. The stitching is in highly
resistant polyester thread. Soft padding provides comfortable, underarm support.
