Check alignment after installation.
6. Install the Escutcheon
Position the escutcheon over the wall plate.
Thread the mounting nut onto the mounting hub using the nut
installation tool provided. Do not fully tighten.
Vertically align the escutcheon with the stem. The stem should be
centered in the escutcheon opening.
Tighten the mounting nut using the alignment tool.
Confirm that the alignment of the stem extension matches that
shown in the diagram.
Using the temporary shut-off knob, verify smooth operation by
rotating the stem several times in both directions.
