Before use
Setting up the water softener
The water softener must be adjusted manually, using the water hardness dial.
The water softener is designed to remove minerals and salts from the water, which could have a
detrimental or adverse effect on the performance of the product. The more minerals there are, the
harder the water will be.
The softener should be adjusted according to the hardness of the water in your area. Your local water
authority can advise you on the water hardness in your area.
Adjusting the salt consumption
The dishwasher is designed to allow adjustment of the amount of salt consumed according to the
hardness of the water used. The aim is to optimise and customise the level of salt consumption.
Follow the steps below to adjust the salt consumption:
1. Turn on the dishwasher;
2. Press the Start/Pause button for more than 5 seconds to start the descaler model within 60 seconds
after switching on the product;
3. Press the Start/Pause button to select the appropriate setting according to your local environment, the
settings will change in the following sequence: H1-> H2-> H3-> H4-> H5-> H5-> H5-> H6;
4. Press the power button to finalize the configuration model.

Note: If your model does not have a water softener, you can skip this section.
Water hardness varies from place to place. If hard water is used in the dishwasher, deposits may form
on dishes and utensils.
The appliance is equipped with a special softener which uses a salt container specifically designed to
remove limescale and minerals from the water.
