1. 1. INTRODUCTION
This Instructive provides all the safety information, operation
instructions, specifications and maintenance of the multimeter which
is compact, portable and battery operated.
This instrument measures AC / DC voltage measurements, AC / DC
current, resistance, audible continuity, diode, hFE, frequency,
capacitance and temperature, permanence angle, tachometer.
It is a 3 -1/2-digit multimeter. It counts up to 1 999 with some range
functions.
It is built with polarity indicator function, data maintenance, range
indicator and automatic.
The digital multimeter design is in agreement with the measuring
electronic instruments with surge category (CAT III 600 V,
CAT II 1 000 V) and degree of contamination 2.
WARNING!
To prevent a possible electric shock or personal injuries, as well as
prevent damaging the multimeter and the equipment to be measured,
follow these instructions:
Before using the multimeter, check the housing. Do not use the
multimeter if damaged or part of the housing has been removed.
Double check for cracks or missing plastic. Check insulation around
the connectors.
Check the test probes for damaged insulation or exposed metal.
Check the test probes continuity.
Do not apply more that the rated voltage as marked in the multimeter,
between the terminals or between any terminal and ground.
To prevent damaging the multimeter, the dial shall be set in the right
position and do not make change range during measurements.
Use special care when the multimeter is working in an effective
voltage above 60 V DC or 30 V RMS in AC because there is danger of
electric shock.
Use the terminals, functions and range adequate for the
measurements.
