Operation
6.1.
SETTING CLOCKWISE/ANTI-CLOCKWISE ROTATION
B
CAUTION! Laceration hazard at sharp edges. Wear safety gloves.
ü Cover (8) is removed.
ü Driver safety pins (4) are removed.
ü Direction of rotation is known.
1. Turn the drivers (6) by 180°.
2. Insert driver safety pins (4) on the housing.
3. Fit the cover (8).
»
Face driver is set to clockwise/anti-clockwise rotation.
NOTICE! All drivers must point in the same direction.
6.2.
CLAMPING
i
The face driver can be clamped as follows:
directly via the Morse taper of the machine tool,
via a Morse taper sleeve (outside: cylinder / inside: Morse taper),
or in the soft jaws of a chuck.
NOTICE! When inserting into the chuck, the radial run-out of the face
driver must be checked and adjusted via the chuck.
6.3.
CALCULATION OF THE CLAMPING FORCE
CAUTION! Ratio of workpiece diameter and head diameter of the face
driver must not exceed 2.25.
