2) Size class 100-135 cm, forward-facing
1 . The 5-point harness of the child car seat must be removed as previously
described. This is not needed in this size class.
2 . The child car seat is used forward-facing in this size class and has 1 seat-
ing position.
3 . Push the child car seat in until it rests securely against the backrest of
the vehicle seat.
4 . Thread the diagonal belt of the 3-point seat belt in the car through the
diagonal belt guide on the headrest of the child car seat.
5 . Put your child in the child car seat.
6 . Adjust the height of the headrest so that the child's head is fully in the
headrest and the diagonal belt comes out through the belt guide at the
level of the child's shoulders.
7 . Close the belt buckle of the 3-point seat belt until you hear a click.
8 . Pull on the diagonal belt to tighten it. Make sure that the straps are not
twisted.
9 . Make sure that the straps run along the green markings in the lap area.
