1. Place upper rail section on saw horses.
2. Attach charge contact to the slow down
strip (Fig. 1).
3. If previously removed, slide charge strip
carrier into back side of rail.
4. Slide charge contact assembly from Fig.
1 into back side of rail. Assembly will fit
snugly against charge strip carrier.
NOTE: Carrier may be longer than joint
end of rail at this point.
For standard installations,
skip to Step 8.
5. (SRE-2010C/OS) Orient overspeed end stop
("U"-shaped bracket) so that four (4) holes
circled in red line up with grooves etched in
back side of rail as shown by red lines (Fig. 2).
6. (SRE-2010C/OS) Position upper leg of "U"
flush with end of rail (Fig. 2).
7. (SRE-2010C/OS) Use two (2) self-
threading screws to mount "U"
bracket to rail, one in an upper hole and
one in a lower hole (Fig. 2).
8. Using two (2) self-drilling
hex head screws, secure slow
down ramp to rail. See Fig. 3
for standard installations, and Fig. 2 for
SRE-2010C/OS installations.
NOTE: Confirm that slow down ramp
is parallel to charge strip carrier,
and touching top edge of carrier.
9. Remove charge contact assembly from rail
and save for later use.
Also remove overspeed end stop from rail
if used in a SRE-2010C/OS installation.
10. Mount final limit bracket: Upper edge of
final limit bracket should be flush with
lower edge of charge contact. Insert a self-
drilling hex head screw through each screw
hole (in red circles, Fig. 4) on final limit
bracket into etched lines on back of rail.
