4. Add top endplate.
Use a 1/2" socket and ratchet to mount
top endplate using two (2) 5-16" - 18x1"
self-threading hex head screws.
5. Insert jack screw.
Two (2) M6 socket button head cap screws
(i.e., jack screws) are provided for
pressure-loading the gear rack. One is
25 mm long and one is 40 mm long.
Use table below to determine which
screw to use.
Distance from last full gear
rack segment to end of rail
½"(12mm) or less
½" (12mm) to 1 1/4" (32mm)
Jack screw may be inserted into either
top or bottom endplate.
NOTE: Do NOT overtighten!
NOTE: Jack screw will NOT be flush
6. Plug charger into a live, properly-grounded
120V AC outlet.
7. Turn charger switch ON.

Finger tighten screw until
screw contacts gear rack.
Then, use hex wrench to tighten
no more than one complete turn.
