rail brackets are
properly secured.

LUBRICATE GEAR RACK
Apply thin layer
of white lithium
grease to gear
rack only.

Turn circuit breaker ON.

Turn key to ON.

Lower footrest.
17.
Using arm rocker switch, run seat
and carriage down rail to check for
proper clearances:
footrest-to-step nose - approx. 1/2 - 3/4"
seat-to-wall/obstruction - 1/2" (12 mm)
Adjust as needed.
18. I f the clearances are correct, firmly secure
remaining rail bracket to stairs.
Always secure back screws of rail
brackets first!
1. Run carriage up and down rail several times.
2. Apply a thin layer of white lithium grease
(provided) on gear rack ONLY.
Repeat often if unit is used very frequently
or is used in a harsh environment.
3. Regular cleaning will keep rail and rack free
of dust and dirt.
