Keep the blades sharp and clean.

The blades keeps moving after the equipment is

switched off. Therefore be aware of that
when servicing.
Note: According to the Brazilian standard
NBR 5410, it is compulsory to install a device to
protect against residual differential current (DR
device) in the electrical installation. The function
of the "DR" is to protect the user against serious
electrical shock risk (consult an electrician).
Additional Safety and Operation Instructions
Make sure the voltage of the power source is the

same of that of the equipment (TRC-40).
Carefully read instructions and get familiar with the

controls and proper used of the equipment.
Remember that the operator or user is responsible for

any accident or damage involving people or their
properties.
Avoid operating the equipment in humid places.

Use the equipment in a well ligth environment.

Before feeding any kind of foliage, start the motor

and wait for it to reach maximum revolution.
Do not introduce anything in the equipment with the

motor off.
Do not use the equipment during periods of power

supply failure (TRC-40).
Whenever you perform any cleaning or maintenance

operations, first make sure that the engine is turned
off, that the blades are stopped, and remove the TRC-
40's power extension from the power outlet and the
TRC-50's spark plug cable.
If the equipment starts to vibrate, unplug it. Check

the cause of the vibration as it indicates that the
equipment needs adjustment and repair.
Check the status of the power supply cord. Never fix

it with insulating tape (TRC-40).
Never use a water jet to clean the equipment; use a

cloth soaked in neutral detergent. Water inside the
equipment can damage the electric circuit of the
motor, besides increasing the risk of an electric
shock.

Call qualified professionals to service

the equipment. Use original parts only.
Always call TRAPP Authorized Service
Technicians. TRAPP is not responsible for
occasional accidents caused by the use of
spare parts that are not original.
Use the equipment according to the

instructions in
consideration the working conditions and the
service to be done.
Clean shredder periodically to avoid buildup of

residue.
Use of the equipment for activities not described in

this manual may result in hazardous situations and
equipment damage.
The TRC-50 is equipped with a four-cycle explosion

motor - It does not use oil in gasoline, check before
use.
The engine do TRC-50 leaves the factory without

oil and gasoline.
Spare parts - Always call TRAPP technicians for spare

parts and maintenance services.

Frequently check if all screws are well
tightened.
Always keep blades sharp to ensure good
equipment performance.
Attention!
Whenever cleaning or servicing, make sure
the equipment is off and the blades are still
as they continue to move for some seconds.
