8. Use the bracket as a guide to
mark on the intake sleeve of the
air filter box the points where
you will make the two Ø 4 mm /
0.15" holes for fixing the bracket
to the sleeve and the Ø 8 mm/
0.31" hole for the second GET
injector housing.
9. Remove the second injector support bracket and drill the three
holes with a router bit.
WARNING: USE THE BRACKET AS A TEMPLATE,
NOT AS A SUPPORT FOR MILLING. DO NOT
USE DRILL BITS, USE ONLY MILL BITS. REMOVE
ANY RESIDUE REMAINING FROM THE MILLING
PROCESS: RESIDUE CAN DAMAGE THE ENGINE
OR COMPROMISE ITS PERFORMANCE.
To fasten the screws correctly, slightly flare the upper part of the Ø
4 mm / 0.15" holes that you just made in the intake sleeve
10. Reposition the intake duct
inside the air filter box and
secure it temporarily to the
air filter box with the M4x25
screw, the relative washer and
the self-locking nut through the
appropriate hole.
11. Carefully drill a Ø 8 mm
/ 0.31'' hole with a milling bit
on the intake duct, passing
through the Ø 8 mm / 0.31'' hole
previously made on the intake
sleeve of the air filter box.
