• Before turning on the device each time, check that the device and the
cables are not damaged.
• If it is likely that hazard-free use is not possible, the device is to be swit
ched off and protected against any involuntary use. Hazard-free use is
only possible if:
- the device or measurement cables are visibly damaged,
- the device is no longer working,
- after it has been stored for a long time in less than ideal conditions,
- after the device has been transported under less than ideal conditions.
• Do not use or store the device in an environment at high temperatures,
in humid, explosive or flammable environments, or one with high electro
magnetic fields. This could reduce the device's efficacy.
• In order to prevent damage to the testing device and prevent risks causing
possible accidents, the multimeter's internal circuit must not, under any
circumstances, be modified.
