Welding by barcode scanning
After entering the general data, if you have chosen to carry out the welding by barcode
scanning, a screenshot will be shown containing the menu that allows to choose between
two possible operating modes:
Welding Mode
This selection enables to carry out electrofusion welds via barcode scanning.
Pressure Test Mode
This selection enables to carry out the pressure tightness test of the systems.
Welding mode operation
After switching on the multifunction welding unit, completing the GENERAL DATA ENTRY
procedure and selecting the operating mode, the screenshot on the right will appear. Use
the keys
to select the required function and confirm by pressing ENTER
ESCAPE
to return to the previous screenshot.
Welding
A welding cycle starts.
Download Memory
Download memory data on USB device.
Delete Memory
It deletes the welding data from the machine memory.
Welding
Connect the welding unit to the fitting to be welded via the suitable cables. The screenshot
on the right will appear.
Now scan the barcode of the fitting to be welded by using the barcode scanner.
After scanning the barcode, the screenshot below will appear:
NOTE: The screenshot here below is provided as an example only; these
parameters can change according to the type and diameter of the fitting to weld.
