WARNING
In order to ensure long term performance of your XLT Winch, and to prevent premature wear,
ensure you follow the guidelines below:
1. Never exceed the rated capacity of the winch for your application.
2. Do not exceed the recommended operational time for the winch.
1-minute of operation, followed by a 14-minute cool-down period
3. Make sure that all electrical connections to the battery are correct, tight, and clean.
4. Do not operate in a repeated "stop-and-go" manner.
5. Immediately stop the winch if it begins to slow down excessively and/or if it feels like it is struggling
to reel in. This is a sign that the rated capacity has been exceeded, and rapid buildup of excessive
heat will occur.
