Always wear durable shoes and long trousers when operating the machine.

Never abruptly pull the device towards you while walking. If you have to pull the machine because a
wall or obstacle is in the way, look behind you carefully to avoid tripping and then do the following:
- Move back as much as possible, and stretch your arms away as much as possible.
- Make sure you have a solid balance.
- Pull the engine slowly

Don't use this electrical garden tool for another task which it isn't designed for. Do not force the
engine.

Do not use this appliance under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•
Stay vigilant: don't use this device when you're tired. Pay close attention to what you're doing.

Don't put hands or feet close to rotating pieces. Contact with the roller could cause serious injuries
including amputation of hands and feet.

Do not attempt to adjust the wheels while the engine is running.

Avoid risky situations. Don't use the machine in the rain.

Only use the machine in daylight. Do not rush to use it's before it gets dark or before it rains, it's
better to delay using it.

Cut the engine when you put the device on its wheels and set the depth adjustment lever to the
transport position.

Switch off the device's power supply every time you leave it unattended.

If the machine starts to vibrate abnormally, stop the engine, unplug from the power and look for an
immediate cause. Vibrations are generally caused by a blockage, clumps of plant fibres, or a more
serious problem (damaged blades).

Stop the engine and wait until the rollers have come to a complete stop before removing the collec-
tion bag or attempting to clean it. The rotating parts will continue to turn for a few seconds after the
engine is switched off.

Always wear safety glasses with side shields.

Never sacrifice a lawn that is too dry or too wet.

Remember to mow your lawn before scarifying, to around 2 cm tall.

Run the scarifier over once lengthways and once width ways for effective scarification.

Use the appliance by slowly pushing it forward. Move forward at an appropriate speed, Avoid mo-
ving to fast as you risk overloading the engine and obstructing the evacuation opening. Never run.

Don't use machine on a paved or gravel surface.
•
Before using the machine, check all screws, nuts, bolts and other fixings are correct.
•
If your work area is slopped, adopt a diagonal position at the tilt, in order to keep your balance. Do
not use the machine on slopes that are too steep. Be careful when changing directions.
•
Maintain your tool well. Regularly check the state of the wheels. If they are damaged, they must be
replaced.
•
If the machine hits a foreign object, follow these steps:
- Stop the machine by releasing the handle, waiting until the wheels stop completely and then
unplug it.
- Carefully check for any potential damage to the machine.
- Repair or replace wheel if it's damaged in anyway.
- Repair all damage before using the tool again and resuming work.
- Use a suitable tool Never use the machine for tasks it;s not designed for.

Never use an electrical machine in the rain or humid place.
•
Disconnect from power before any repairs, cleaning or if you leave the work area.
