MAINTENANCE
PRECAUTIONS
•
Before disassembling, repairing, changing the roller, cleaning or storing your machine, disconnect
the extension cord from the power outlet, and wait for the rollers to stop completely and the ap-
pliance to completely cool.
•
Be careful not to hurt yourself, use leather gloves to hold the rollers.
•
Use only parts recommended by VOLTR/Alice's Garden.
MACHINE
It is strongly recommended that you check the condition of your machine regularly, before and after each
use:
•
Check the power supply (extension + machine cable), if there are marked wear marks, or cuts,
change the extension cord or contact our service department for powering your device.
•
Check the buttons and safety devices, they must be intact and in perfect working order.
•
Clean the whole machine (plastics, collection bag, vents, etc.) with a brush and a damp cloth, then
wipe with a dry cloth. You can apply a coat of oil to the brush for metal parts. Never power wash or
hose down. Do not use detergents or solvents; this could damage the plastic parts of the equipment.
•
Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight so that the equipment can operate properly and safely.
•
Replace worn or damaged parts. Only use original parts and accessories.
ROLLERS
•
Clean your rollers regularly to remove soil, dirt and grass.
•
When restarting your machine, carefully examine your blades.
•
If your rolls are worn or dull, sharpen them.
•
If your rolls are bent or unbalanced, you can straighten them.
•
If your rollers are too damaged, or if the above points have not solved the problem, replace them.
•
After each use, after cleaning the rollers, you can apply oil with a brush to prevent rust from deve-
loping.
REPLACING ROLLERS
•
Refer to the "Assembling roller" chapter p11.
COLLECTION BAG
•
Check the collection bag before each use.
•
