7. Getting started
7.1. Fitting the batteries
The camera runs on 12 AA size batteries. The product can work with alkaline or Ni-MH rechargeable batteries.
Before inserting the batteries, make sure the switch is in the OFF position.
When inserting the batteries, make sure to follow polarity indicated inside the battery slot.
7.2. Fitting the memory card
Using a memory card is required to operate the camera (SD card from 4GB up to 32GB max – class 10 minimum).
Formatting the SD card before using it for the first time is strongly recommended, especially when the card has
been used in other devices.
Before inserting the memory card, make sure the switch is in the OFF position.
7.3. Install the free App on your smartphone
On Google Play or the App Store, search for PIE Cloud App.
Download and install the App on your smartphone.
7.4. Add your camera in the PIE Cloud App
Start the
PIE Cloud App
and create
an account.

After clicking on the
"Create account"
button, you will receive
an activation request
email and then an
activation confirmation
email.
