8. Operation
8.1. Turn ON the camera
Put the switch in the ON position; the camera is ready to work (the LCD screen does not light up when you put
the switch to ON).
The indicator light located on the front of the product flashes 5 times before the camera gets into working mode.
This interval allows you time to close the camera front cover and leave the monitored area.
Once in the ON mode, the camera will take photos or videos according to its current parameter settings.
NOTE: the camera comes pre-programmed with factory default settings.
8.2. Turn OFF the camera
Slide the switch to the OFF position to turn off the camera.
Please note that even in OFF mode, the camera still consumes power at a very low level. Therefore, please
remove the batteries if the camera will not be used for a long time.
The OFF mode is the "safe mode" for actions such as: replacing the memory card, replacing the SIM card,
replacing the batteries or transporting the camera.
8.3. Photo/video replay on the LCD screen
− Slide the switch to the SETUP position.
− Press  to enter replay, then press  and  for selection.
− Press OK to play photo/video.
− Press  again to exit.
8.4. Delete files
− Slide the switch to the SETUP position.
− Press  to enter replay, then press  and  for selection.
− Press the MENU button then select "Delete" and press OK.
− Select "One" (delete the selected photo/video) or "All" (delete all photos/videos) then press OK.
− If your selected "One", "Delete This File?" will appear on the screen, select "Yes" or "No" then press OK.
− If you selected "All", "Delete all files?" will appear on the screen, select "Yes" or "No" then press OK.
− Press MENU to exit.
8.5. Format memory card
− Slide the switch to the SETUP position.
− Press  to enter replay.
− Press the MENU button then select "Format" and press OK.
− Select "Yes" or "No". If you selected "Yes", "Are you really sure?" will appear on the screen, select "Yes" or
"No" then press OK.
− Press MENU to exit.
8.6. Webcam
When the camera is connected via USB cable; the LCD screen displays "MSDC". Press MENU once, "MSDC" turns
to "PC Cam", the camera now can be used as a PC camera. Press MENU again, the camera exits the PC camera
mode.
