7.6 Emergency measures

In the event of a fire in the Filter-Master XL, the following measures can be helpful:
Inform the responsible fire safety officer and follow their instructions.

If necessary, Inform the local fire brigade.

If possible, disconnect the Filter-Master XL from the power supply by pulling

the power plug or have the electrical power supply for the Filter-Master XL
disconnected by an appropriately trained specialist (electricians etc.) at the
upstream local sub-distribution.
If possible, disconnect the Filter-Master XL from the compressed air supply

and relax the air reservoir on drainage valve..
If necessary, Fight fire with commercially available dry powder extinguisher.

Attention!
Do not open the Filter-Master XL, flames! In the event of a fire, dangerous vapours
and fumes are formed which can lead to suffocation. If possible, wear personal
protective equipment.
