Compare the illustrations below with the generator to familiarize yourself with the locations of various components inside the unit.

For clarity, the generator is shown with access doors and
roof removed.
A - Air cleaner - protects the engine by filtering dust and
debris out of the intake air.
B - Screen guard - prevents fingers from touching the
radiator fan and encloses the coolant recovery bottle.
Must be closed while generator is in operation.
C - Coolant recovery bottle - located on the inside of the
screen guard. Provides a visual indication of the engine
coolant level.
