PRIOR TO USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
• Remove all packaging material. The original packaging can be used later for transport or
storage. Dispose of packaging in an environment-friendly manner and in compliance with
binding laws and directives. Keep it out of the reach of children.
• Check for potential transport damage and that all items are present. In the event of
damage or missing items, contact the seller immediately and no later than within 8 days
after the date on the receipt.
OPERATION
• Prior to connecting the power plug in the socket, check that voltage corresponds with the
information on the device's type plate.
• Connect the power plug in the corresponding socket.
• Insert the desired quantity of chocolate into the stainless steel pan (max. quantity approx.
1.5L) and close the cover.
• Turn on the device (turn the illuminated switch in figure 2 to "1").
The switch will be illuminated when the device is on.
• Set the knob to the desired temperature.
As long as the machine is heating, the control light on the front of the machine will be lit up
(figure 1). When the set temperature of the machine (not the chocolate) has been reached,
the control light will switch off.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Note
• The appliance is used to melt chocolate with attended use. Do not use it for keep
warm purpose or unattended.
• Do not operate the device without the stainless steel pan in place or while the stainless
steel pan is empty!
• The temperatures set on the device's knob are non-binding approximate values.
• This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote-control system.
