TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Snow blower does not
start.
The motor is running,
but the auger does
not turn.
The snow blower
leaves a layer of snow
on the ground after
passing.
Cause
1. Battery pack charge is low.
2. Safety button is not
depressed.
3. Motor overload or battery
pack overheating – the snow
blower has stopped working
in order to protect internal
circuits.
4.The battery pack is too cold.
The drive belt is worn or
damaged.
The scraper bar is worn.
Remedy
1. Charge the battery pack.
2. Press the safety button and
then squeeze the bail switch.
3. Clear the snow or ice stuck in
the auger and deck. Wait for
the machine/ battery pack to
cool down, and then start the
machine again.
4. Warm the battery pack to room
temperature and then try again.
Have the drive belt replaced
by an Authorized SKIL Service
Station.
Replace the scraper bar following
the section "Replacing the
Scraper Bar" in this manual.
