3.2.
Preparation for operation
POSITIONING OF THE UNIT
The ambient temperature must not exceed 40°C and ambient humidity should not
exceed 85%. Place the unit in a way that ensures good air circulation. Maintain a
minimum clearance of 10 cm from any wall of the unit. Keep the unit away from any
hot surfaces. Always operate the unit on a level, stable, clean, fireproof and dry
surface and out of the reach of children and persons of impaired mental, sensory
and intellectual functions. Place the unit in such a way that the mains plug can be
reached at any time. Ensure that the power supply to the unit corresponds to that
specified on the identification plate!
3.3.
Working with the unit
3.3.1.
I.
The ZERO/BL button is responsible for zeroing the scale and backlighting.
a) To turn on or off the backlight, press and hold the [ZERO/BL] button for a
few seconds.
b) Reset:
•
Place the weight on the scale.
•
Press the [ZERO/BL] button to reset the measured value.
II.
Tarring
•
Place the weight on the scale pan
•
Wait a while for the device to stabilize.
•
Press the [TARE] key. The display will show the "0" value and the tare
symbol (-T-) will light up. After the weight is removed, the display will
show a negative value.
•
Press the [TARE] button again to complete taring.
III.
CLEAR/MC
•
Press this button during weighing to delete the unit price; after
checking the cumulated data, the current data will be cleared.
•
Press this button during weighing for about 3 seconds; deletes all
cumulative data.
IV.
MR
•
Press this button to read the unit weight, unit price and amount (up
to 18 times).
V.
CHG./STORE (CHANGE/STORE) Function to calculate/give the change.
