POSSIBLE CAUSE
Out of fuel.
Bad fuel, generator stored without treating or
draining gasoline, or refueled with bad gasoline.
Dirty air filter.
Low engine oil level stopped generator.
Spark plug wet with fuel (flooded engine).
Spark plug faulty, fouled, or improperly gapped.
Fuel system malfunction, fuel pump failure,
ignition malfunction, valves stuck, etc.
Choke partially open or closed.
CO sensor removed or modified
CO sensor activated or system fault occurred
Out of fuel.
Incorrect engine oil level.
Dirty air filter.
Contaminated fuel.
Defective low oil level switch.
Air filter restricted.
Bad fuel, generator stored without treating or
draining gasoline, or refueled with bad gasoline.
Fuel system malfunction, fuel pump failure,
ignition malfunction, valves stuck, etc.
Dirty air filter.
Generator overloaded.
Faulty power tool or appliance.
Fuel system malfunction, fuel pump failure,
ignition malfunction, valves stuck, etc.
AC circuit breaker's tripped.
Faulty power tool or appliance.
Faulty generator.
If the temperature of the propane tank drops
below the dew point, condensation on the tank
may turn to frost or ice. This typically occurs in
humid conditions.
The propane tank is not equipped with an
Overfilling Prevention Device (OPD).
Propane fuel tank overfilled.
CORRECTION
Refuel.
Drain the fuel tank. Refuel with fresh
gasoline.
Clean the air filter.
Check engine oil level. Add engine oil if low.
Wait five minutes. Turn Run/Stop switch to
the OFF position. Pull recoil handle rapidly
several times. If the generator does not start,
remove spark plug and dry.
Gap or replace the spark plug. Reinstall.

Fully open or close the choke.

of purchase or refilling.
