* Connect the Pt 100 sensor for wire compensation with 3 wires. Terminal 3 and terminal 4 must be connected to the sensor jumpers.
NOTE!
Use shielded cable!
Signals can be disturbed by electromagnetic interference. Use specified cables to ensure electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and
ground them correctly.
► Use shielded Ethernet cable.
► Ground the cable shield on both sides, on each of the connected devices.
► Use a short cable (max. 1 m) with a cross-section of at least 1.5 mm2 for earthing.
5.6
Electrical connection procedure:
1.
Connect the type RPC positioner according to the tables.
2.
The connection for fieldbus is made via a circular connector M12, 4-pin D-coded.
3.
To connect the technical ground, there is a grub screw with nut on the electrical connection housing. Connect the grub screw to
a suitable grounding point. To ensure electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), make sure that the cable is as short as possible (max.
30 cm, Ø 1.5 mm
).
2
4.
After applying the operating voltage, the RPC positioner type is in operation.
5.
Now make the required basic settings and adjustments for the positioner/process controller. See chapter "Putting into operati-
on".
