Troubleshooting
Whenever there is a problem with the appliance, check if you can solve it by following the tables below. If
the problem persists, contact customer service.
Note: Any electrical repairs to this product must comply with local, state, and federal laws. Please con-
tact the Technical Support Center if you have any questions before performing any of the following
before performing any of the above steps. Always disconnect the unit from the power supply when ope-
ning the unit.
DESCRIPTION
Poor cooling
Unit does not work
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•
The set temperature may be higher
than the room temperature.
•
Indoor or outdoor unit heat exchan-
ger is dirty.
•
The filter is dirty.
•
The air inlet or outlet of either unit is
blocked.
•
Doors and windows are open
•
Direct sunlight on either unit
•
Too many heat sources in the room
(people, computers, electronics,
etc.).
•
Low refrigerant level due to leakage
or prolonged use.
•
SILENCE function is activated (optio-
nal function).
•
Power failure
•
The power supply is disconnected
•
Fuse is blown.
•
Remote control batteries are ex-
hausted
•
The 3-minute protection of the unit
has been activated.
•
Timer activated

SOLUTION
•
Reduce the set temperature
•
Clean the affected heat exchanger
•
Remove the filter and clean it according
to the instructions.
•
Turn the unit off, remove the obstruction
and turn the unit back on.
•
Make sure all doors and windows are clo-
sed while the unit is operating.
•
Close windows and curtains during pe-
riods of high heat or intense sunshine.
•
Reduce the number of heat sources
•
Check for leaks, reseal if necessary and
refill with refrigerant.
•
The SILENCE function may reduce the
performance of the product by reducing
the frequency of operation. Deactivate the
SILENCE function.
•
Wait for the power to be restored.
•
Turn on the power
•
Replace the fuse
•
Replace the batteries
•
Wait three minutes after restarting the
unit.
•
Turn off the timer
