Two operators are needed for cutting. The

person working inside the car pushes the
VERITRAC guide awl through the sealing
adhesive 10–15 cm from the point of piercing
without touching the glass.
The person working on the outside grasps the

handle and pulls the cutting wire in the direction
of the inserted guide awl. The cutting wire will
cut the sealing adhesive. When the cutting wire
is pulled to the outside, the guide awl on the
inside is pushed in again a little further on,
which naturally pulls the cutting wire to the inside.
During this alternating pulling and
NOTE!
slackening care must be taken to ensure that the
cutting wire remains tight. Otherwise the steel
wire could coil into a knot and would have to
be renewed.
IMPORTANT!
Cut carefully at the corners of the
window a centimetre at a time if possible. It is
advisable to use a screwdriver on the inside to
guide the cutting wire. Should the cutting wire get
caught in a corner of the window the cutting process
may be continued from the opposite direction.
To remove or insert windows use the two
