Those operating and servicing the high pressure washer must
be aware of the contents of this manual.
CLASSIFICATION
The user must respect the conditions for using a high pressure
washer specified in current regulations and standards. In parti-
cular you must respect the classification below.
The high pressure washer is classified as a Class I appliance
for protection against electric shock.
The high pressure washer is regulated in the factory and all
safety devices are sealed. They must not be adjusted.
The wall-mounted pressure washer must only be installed on
solid, flat walls.
The high pressure washer is considered as a permanently
installed appliance.
Failure to respect this classification may be a cause of dan-
ger.
The high pressure washer must not be used in the presence
of corrosive or potentially explosive atmospheres (vapours or
gases).

GENERAL SAFETY RULES FOR
THE USE OF HIGH PRESSURE

- The high pressure washer must be elec-
trically connected by a qualified electrician
able to operate in respect of current regula-
tions and standards (in compliance with the
provisions of IEC 60364-1) and in accordan-
ce with the Manufacturer's instructions.
Incorrect connection may cause damage to
people, animals or things and absolves the
Manufacturer of all liability.
- High pressure washers with a power rating
of less than 3 kW are fitted with a plug for
connection to the mains electricity supply.
Make sure the power rating of the electrical
installation and sockets is adequate for the
maximum power of the appliance as indica-
ted on the rating plate (kW).
If in doubt, contact a qualified electrician.
If the socket and the plug on the appliance
are incompatible, have the socket replaced
with a suitable type by a qualified electrician.
Before connecting the high pressure washer,
make sure the specification on the rating
plate is compatible with that of the mains
electricity supply.
- Do not use extensions to power the high
pressure washer.
If you use an extension, the plug and socket
must be watertight. Unsuitable extensions
may be dangerous.
- The electrical safety of the high pressure
washer is guaranteed only when it is cor-
rectly connected to an efficient earth system
as specified by current electrical safety stan-
dards and regulations (in compliance with
the provisions of IEC 60364-1).
