USER INSTRUCTION FOR X-BACK PROTECTOR
This Product has been tested and certified by TÜV Rheinland LGA Products GmbH,
Tillystraße 2, 90431 Nürnberg, Germany in accordance with European directive
89/686/EEC. Notified Body No: 0197
Protectors are devices intended for the protection of persons; they are only developed and
produced to allow limited protection against injury caused by falling.
PROTECTOR POSITIONING
To ensure it's protective function, Spinal
protection must cover the spine, be correctly
positioned in the pockets provided, adjusted to
fit and worn under clothing.

USE
This back protector is designed for both motorcycle and bicycle use. Non-observance, resp.
modifications or changes which do not correspond with the original product can result in severe
injury!
WARNING
Wearing back protection does not eliminate the possibility spinal or any other injury. The
function of this protector is to reduce the chance or severity of an injury in an accident. iXS
SPORTS DIVISION does not assume liability for any injury. After use, always check that the
protective gear of iXS SPORTS DIVISION is functional. Always replace defective or damaged
protection parts.
Environmental influences such as very high (> 38ºC) or very low temperatures (< -9ºC) or strong
sunlight can change the properties of materials and significantly reduce the performance of the
protector. Care should be taken not to expose protectors to extreme environmental conditions.
iXS SPORTS DIVISION protectors are manufactured according to state-of-the-art knowledge and
do not contain toxic or skin damaging substances. Contact with the skin and perspiration do not
cause changes to the material.

The CE labeling included on all homologized protectors certifies the following:

CLEANING / STORAGE
Remove the protector from clothing before cleaning. Use a damp cloth to clean or remove dirt.
WARNING
DO NOT SUBMERGE THE PROTECTOR IN WATER OR WASH WITH ANY CHEMICAL SUBSTANCES.
Avoid direct sunlight and store in a cool dry place. Do not store your protector in a damp condiction or in extreme
temperatures (< -9ºC / > 38ºC).

When Disposing of gear, take care not to employ environmentally harmful measures and comply with the
applicable rules. Do not burn or shred the protector as toxic fumes and or injury may result. iXS SPORTS DIVISION
protectors are made of polyurethane (PU).
WARNING
Any contamination, misuse or alteration of the protector may greatly reduce the protector's performance. Always remove
and examine the protector before and after use. Replace the protector if breaking or deterioration occurs. The life of this
protector is 5 years under proper conditions.
