A2 INSTRUCTIONS FOR PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
A2.1 Periodic maintenance
In order to ensure the proper cleaning BravoMATIC is equipped with a backwashing system that may take
action in three different modalities:
- automatic timed mode: a timed device activates the filter backwashing every 2 or 4 or 6 or 8 or 12 or
24 or 36 or 48 hours according to the model;
- automatic with differential: thanks to the pressure differential it is possible to verify the filtering
cartridge clogging degree. In case it was excessive a backwashing cycle is launched, independently
of the time elapsed since the last cleaning cycle
- manual: pressing the black button placed on the filter front panel it is possible to launch a cleaning
cycle immediately.
Warning! In order to realize an effective cleaning of the filter a minimum 2 bar pressure is requested.
For that purpose it is possible to use a shut off valve placed downstream of the filter, closing it
temporarily (during cleaning operation) so that a bigger flow rate will be available for the cleaning operation.
A2.2 Inactivity
After long inactivity periods it is advisable to carry out the filter cleaning operation repeatedly (2/3 times) In
case the hydraulic distribution system was subjected to a cleaning and sanitization it would be necessary to
include BravoMATIC in the intervention as well. The sanitization is part of the extraordinary maintenance and
it must be performed by authorised service centres (C.A.T.) only.
A2.3 Periodic checks
It is advisable to make a biannual check by an authorized technician to verify the proper operation of the
equipment.
A2.4 Extraordinary maintenance
Extraordinary maintenance or repair may affect the functional and/or safety features if improperly executed:
all these operations are deliberately omitted in this manual. Hence all extraordinary maintenance and repair
operations not covered in this manual should be performed by authorized Acqua Brevetti s.r.l personnel only
or by a local delegate specifically authorized.

country with trained technicians who are available to assist you in order to ensure the proper operation of the
equipment. In case of damages or peculiar problems please contact Acqua Brevetti s.r.l..

Cause
Reduced voltage.
Defective feeder.

Solution
Check the power supply.
Replace the feeder.
Replace the electrical circuit.
Wait for the washing cycle to end.
Switched off the electrical power and restore
it. If the problem persists, get in touch with
C.A.T.
Wait for the waiting time to pass, then launch
a new cleaning cycle
