Use
6.1
General
Check the equipment for completeness and damage. Do not use the equipment if it is damaged; in that
case contact the Holmatro dealer.
WARNING
Make sure you are up to date on all safety regulations and that you have mastered the use
of all equipment of the system you are going to work with.
6.2
Before use
•
Connect the hydraulic hose(s) and the pump. Refer to chapter 5.2.
•
Start the pump.
6.3
During use
6.3.1
Crack the nut
•
Apply Molykote to the tip of the cutter before cracking the nut. This greatly increases the service life.
•
Set the pressure relief valve on the pump in the "operation" position. The cutter extends and starts
cutting the nut.
•
Set the pressure relief valve on the pump in the "neutral" position. The cutter returns (spring return).
6.4
After use
6.4.1
Shut down and disconnection
•
Set the pressure relief valve on the pump in the "neutral" position. The cutter returns to the home
position.
•
Stop the pump.
•
Disconnect the hose(s). Refer to chapter 5.3.
6.4.2
Inspection
•
Check the tool for external damage and/or oil leakage.
6.4.3
Cleaning and storage
•
Clean the tool and any accessories used before storage.
•
Clean the High-Flow couplers. Ensure that the dust caps are fitted.
•
Dry the tool if it has been used in wet conditions.
•
Apply a little of oil on the steel parts.

Troubleshooting
7.1
General
Consult the Holmatro dealer if the listed solutions do not give the desired result, or in case of other
problems. For malfunctions or repair, always specify the model and serial number of the equipment.
