vacuum sealing, or place a folded paper towel between food and the end of
the bag to absorb excess liquids.
When you are vacuum sealing items with sharp edges (dry spaghetti,
silverware, etc.), protect the bag from punctures by wrapping the item in
a soft padded material, such as parchment paper or paper towels. You may
need to place the food in a canister or container instead of a bag.
Do not vacuum seal carbonated or sparkling beverages, as gas removal will
cause these liquids to go flat.
To prevent illness, do not reuse bags after storing raw meats, raw fish or
greasy foods. Do not resue bags that have been microwaved or cooked.
Using The External Vacuuming Function
This function is used with accessory items such as vacuum container and bottle
stopper.
Place the appliance on a flat, dry surface and plug in the appliance.
Vacuum packaging with the container (not supplied)
1. Place the item(s) to be vacuum packaged inside the container.
Fill the container up to ¾ full. DO NOT overfill.
2. Make sure the lid of the container is dry and free of food particles and debris.
3. Place the lid on top of the container.
4. Insert one end of the hose (not supplied) into the hose port on the side of
the appliance. Connect the other end of the hose to the port on the top of
the container.
5. Close the lid and press down on both corners or the lid to lock until you hear
the click sound.
