Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install the product.
WARNING
RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRICAL SHOCK:
This transformer is for use with low-voltage landscape lighting systems ONLY.
This transformer is suitable for outdoor use ONLY.
Suitable for use with submersible luminaries and pumps.
DO NOT submerge the transformer in water.
DO NOT use the transformer with a dimmer switch.
DO NOT mount the transformer upon combustible material.
DO NOT connect two or more transformers in parallel.
• This transformer has a minimum loading that it is at least a total of 1 Watt.
Always disconnect the transformer from the electrical outlet when working on the lighting system.
The transformer must be installed vertically and at least 20 inches above ground level.
CAUTION
DO NOT mount transformer or luminaires within 10 ft. of a swimming pool or spa.
DO NOT bury the connectors or cables at depth greater than 6 in.
DO NOT exceed the maximum wattage of the power pack capacity.
Please calculate total wattage as you may need a larger or multiple transformer, otherwise the transformer system
would display "E" or occasionally may repeatedly shut down and turn on due to wattage overloading, which causes
higher temperature than transformer's protection temperature. Please remove some fixtures to solve this problem.
For use only on a branch circuit protected by a Class A-type ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI).
DO NOT repair or tamper with cord or plug.
A cord-connected landscape lighting system shall not be used with an extension cord.
This device is accepted as a component of a landscape lighting system where the suitability of the combination shall
be determined by U L or CSA or local inspection authorities having jurisdiction.

The transformer has a 200-watt circuit that powers up to 200 watts of light.
Cable distance, total wattage and spacing of the light
ONLY connect the transformer cord to a covered 120-volt Class A Type GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter)
protected hooded flush type cover plate outlet that is marked "WET LOCATION".
Using the correct gauge cable is essential for obtaining proper lighting performance. For use with SPT-2W,
underground low-voltage cable with a 25-foot length minimum. Using smaller than 14 gauge wire, may result in fire
risk or electric shock. Using larger gauge cable can help reduce the voltage drop issue.
DO NOT install all landscape fixtures in the last 1/3 length of the run wire. Lights installed in this section may

not work properly (e.g. dim or blinks) and transformer may display "E".
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class-B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the
FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential
installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no
guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to
radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try
to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Please note that changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the
user's authority to operate the equipment.
