Using the appliance
Mode
Super-Freeze
Super-Freeze mode lowers the temperature of the freezer so food will freeze more quickly. This
can preserve more vitamins and nutrients from fresh food and will keep it fresher, longer.
• Press the "TEMPºC/Super freeze 3sec" button for 3 seconds to select the "Super-Freeze"
function. The screen will display "-24" and the indicator light
• For the maximum amount of food to be frozen, several hours before placing fresh food in the
freezer compartment is necessary, turn on Super-Freeze to avoid an unwanted temperature rise.
• If the freezing capacity indicated on the nameplate is to be used, switch on the freezing function
24 hours before fresh products are placed in the freezing compartment, and the freezing function
will automatically stop after some time.
• To deactivate the "Super-Freeze" function, press the "TEMPºC/Super Freeze 3sec" button. If the
freezing function is deactivated, the freezing indicator
and the appliance automatically switches to the temperature set before the freezing mode.

Door alarm
• If the freezer door is opened for more than one minute, the alarm will sound and the

• To save energy, avoid leaving the door open for long periods while the appliance is in use. The
door alarm can also be stopped by closing the door.

Using the appliance
This section explains how to use most of the important features. We recommend you read this

Using the freezer compartment
The freezer compartment is suitable for storing foods that need to be frozen such as meat, fish,
ice cream and other foods.
CAUTION :
Make sure that the bottles are not stored in the freezer as
freezing can cause the bottles to break.
Shelves
• The shelves are suitable for storing food.
• To remove the shelf: lift it forward and pull toward the exterior.
IMPORTANT :
To make the most of the volume of the frozen food storage
compartment, the user can remove one or more drawers
from the appliance, depending on how it is used day-to-day.
If you remove a drawer, please rotate the shelf under the
drawer 180° up and down for best energy efficiency.
To save energy, do not remove the bottom freezer drawer.
Drawers
The drawers can be used to store frozen food. First, raise the drawer to the horizontal position,
then tilt it upwards to remove the drawer.

CAUTION :
Never close the freezer door when the shelves, flap or
drawers are extended. This may damage them and the
freezer door.
