13. USE THE COMPRESSOR PROPERLY:
Start the compressor in compliance with the instructions of this manual. Do not
allow children, unskilled or unauthorized persons use it. If the compressor is
transported inclined there may be fuel spillage, as well as the passage of oil to the
combustion chamber, which consequently will make it impossible to start the
compressor.
14. ENSURE THAT THE SCREWS ARE ALWAYS TIGHTENED:
Keep the screws in their correct position and well fixed. According to its use, it
should be tightened periodically.
15. NEVER USE THE COMPRESSOR IN CASE OF DEFECTS OR MALFUNCTIONS
IN ITS RUNNING:
If the compressor runs abnormally, emits noise, vibrations or has other problems,
stop using it immediately and take it to a GENERGY Authorized Service for
checking.
16. DO NOT CLEAN PLASTIC PARTS WITH A SOLVENT:
Solvents such as diluents, benzene, carbon tetrachloride and alcohol can damage
and crack plastic parts. To clean the plastics, use a cloth moistened with soap,
then clean and dry well.
17. USE ONLY GENERGY ORIGINAL PARTS:
The application of different parts than original parts may cause a total loss of the
warranty and cause malfunction with consequent hazards. GENERGY spare parts
can be found at brand distributors.
18. DO NOT MODIFY THE COMPRESSOR:
Do not modify the compressor. Based on the original pre-set parameters, do not
start the compressor with abnormally high engine pressures or speeds.
Contact GENERGY or an authorized centre for any repair. Unauthorized
modification can affect not only the performance of the compressor, as well as can
cause accidents to the personnel responsible for the repairs, if they have not the
technical knowledge or skills required to do the repair operations correctly.
19. AFTER EACH USE, TURN OFF THE SWITCH AND DEPRESSURIZE:
Turn off the engine, positioning the switch to "OFF". Open the air passage to
depressurize the tank completely.
20. DO NOT TOUCH IN HOT SURFACES:
To reduce the risk of burns, do not touch tubes, cylinder heads, exhaust pipes and
other adjacent areas. Avoid touching these surfaces with body parts or objects.
These areas can remain very hot for at least 45 minutes, after the engine has been
switched off. Allow to cool completely before handling.
21. DO NOT AIM THE AIR FLOW TO THE BODY:
Do not aim the air flow at people or parts of the body to avoid any type of physical
injury.
22. SPARE PARTS:
Use only original parts, consult your GENERGY distributor.
