PREPARATION FOR WORK
CLAMPING OF WORKING TOOLS
• Loosen the quick-release chuck ring (1) until the desired jaw
opening is achieved to allow the drill bit or screwdriver tip to be
inserted.
• Place the working tool by inserting it into the quick-release bracket
(1) and fasten by tightening the loose ring.
• Disassembly of the working tool proceeds in reverse order to its
assembly.
• In the case of installing a new drill bit or screwdriver tip, after starting
it should be observed whether there is no excessive runout during
rotation, which may indicate improper fixation in the quick-release
holder.
WORK / SETTINGS
ON/OFF
REMARK! The mains voltage must correspond to the voltage stated on
the device nameplate.
On - press the switch button (7) and hold in this position.
Shutdown - release the pressure on the switch button (7).
Switch lock (continuous operation)
Enable:
• Press the switch button (7) and hold it in this position.
• Press the switch lock button (6) (Fig. A).
• Release the pressure on the switch button (7).
Disable:
Press and release the pressure on the switch button (7).
SPEED CONTROL
The screwdriving or drilling speed can be adjusted during operation by
increasing or decreasing the pressure on the switch button (7). Speed
control allows a slow start, which helps to maintain control of work when
screwing and unscrewing.
TORQUE CONTROL
Setting the torque adjustment ring (2) in the selected position permanently
sets the clutch to a certain amount of torque. When the set torque is
reached, the overload clutch will be automatically disconnected. This
allows you to protect against screwing the screw too deeply or damaging
the device.
• For different screws and different materials, different torque
quantities are used.
• The greater the torque, the greater the number corresponding to a
given position (Fig.B).
• Set the torque adjustment ring (2) to a specific amount of torque.
• Always start with a smaller torque.
• Increase the torque gradually until a satisfactory result is achieved.
• Higher settings should be selected for screwing.
• For drilling, select the setting marked with the drill symbol. With this
setting, the highest torque value is achieved.
• The ability to choose the right torque setting is gained as you acquire
practice.
Setting the torque adjustment ring in the drilling position deactivates
the overload clutch.
DIRECTION OF ROTATION TO THE RIGHT – TO THE LEFT
With the help of the direction of rotation switch (5), the direction of rotation
of the spindle is selected (Fig. A).
Rotation to the right - set the switch of the direction of rotation (5) in the
extreme left position.
Rotation to the left - set the switch of the direction of rotation (5) in the
extreme right position.
* It is stipulated that in some cases the position of the direction of rotation
switch in relation to the rotation may be different than described.
Reference shall be made to the graphic symbols on the direction of
rotation switch or the housing of the device.
Do not change the direction of rotation while the spindle of the
device is rotating.
GEAR CHANGE
The gear shift switch (3) (Fig.C) allows you to increase the speed range.
Gear I: rev range smaller, high torque force.
Gear II: rev range greater, less torque force.
- 1 pc.
- 1 pc.
Depending on the work being done, set the gear shift switch to the correct
position. If the switch cannot be moved, turn the spindle slightly.
Never move the gear shift switch while the device is running. This
could damage the power tool.
Long-term drilling at low spindle speed threatens to overheat the
engine. Periodical breaks in operation should be made or the device
should be allowed to work at maximum speed without load for a
period of about 3 minutes.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Before proceeding with any installation, adjustment, repair, or
maintenance activities, remove the plug of the power cord from the
mains outlet.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
• It is recommended to clean the device immediately after each use.
• Do not use water or other liquids for cleaning.
• The device should be cleaned with a brush or blown with low-
pressure compressed air. Do not use any cleaning agents or
solvents, as they may damage plastic parts.
• Regularly clean the ventilation gaps in the engine housing to prevent
overheating of the device.
• In the event of excessive sparking on the commutator, have the
condition of the carbon brushes of the engine checked by a qualified
person.
• Always keep the device in a dry place, out of reach of children.
QUICK RELEASE HOLDER REPLACEMENT
The quick-release chuck is wound on the thread of the spindle of the net
drill-screwdriver and additionally secured with a screw.
• Unzip the jaws of the quick-release bracket (1) and unscrew the
fixing screw (left thread) (Fig. D).
• Attach the hex wrench to the quick-release handle and hit the other
end of the hexagonal wrench lightly.
• Unscrew the quick-release handle.
• Installation of the quick-release bracket is carried out in the reverse
order of its disassembly.
REPLACEMENT OF CARBON BRUSHES
Worn (shorter than 5 mm) burnt or cracked carbon brushes of the
motor should be replaced immediately. Both carbon brushes are
always replaced at the same time.
• Unscrew the carbon brush covers (4) (Fig. E).
• Remove used carbon brushes.
• Remove any coal dust by means of low compressed air pressure.
• Insert new carbon brushes (the brushes should slide freely into the
handle brush) (Fig. F)
• Install carbon brush covers (4).
After performing the carbon brush replacement operation, start the
device without load and wait about 3 minutes for the carbon brushes
to adapt to the motor commutator. The operation of replacing carbon
brushes is recommended to be entrusted only to a qualified person
using original parts.
All kinds of defects should be removed by an authorized manufacturer's
Service.
