• Avoid collisions of any kind! Avoid driving into an obstacle (step,
kerb) without braking or jumping down steps (Fig. B).
• Replace the tyres as soon as the tread is worn down.
• When getting in or out of the wheelchair, apply both parking
brakes.
• Only use the parking brake for parking, it must not be used to slow
down the ride.

• Avoid driving on uneven, loose surfaces.
• In road traffic, the road traffic regulations must be observed (see
chap. 2.4).
• The seat and upholstery materials meet the requirements of
resistance to flammability according to EN 1021- 2. Nevertheless,
do not expose upholstery or other parts to sources of fire - such as
cigarettes.
• The wheelchair may only be used to transport one person. The
wheelchair must not be used to transport loads or more than one

person.
• When braking from fast travel or on long downhill stretches, using
the handrims, fingers and palms heat up. Caution, danger of burns!
(Fig. C).
• Avoid fast travel and downhill stretches.
• Note that upholstered parts exposed to direct sunlight heat up and
can cause skin injuries if touched. Therefore, cover these parts or
protect the wheelchair from sunlight.
• Also note that the frame and upholstered parts can cool down
considerably in winter. If possible, do not park the wheelchair
outside in cold weather.
• Observe the storage and operating conditions.

• When transferring between the wheelchair and the bed, always
observe the following:
• apply both parking brakes.
• swing the side part of the entry/exit side downwards.
• swing the foot plates (when getting in/out) up or away.
• Reporting incidents.
If you, as the operator, user or their relatives, detect possible
defects or functional limitations, please contact an authorised dealer
immediately. Operators, users or their relatives should inform the
dealer who supplied the dealer who provided you with the product of
any suspected serious incidents which directly or indirectly have had or
could have one of the following and by which they are affected. You
can also report this to the competent higher federal authority report
- the death of a patient, user or other person,
- the temporary or permanent serious deterioration of the health
of the state of health of a patient, user or other persons,
- a serious risk to public health.
