ENGLISH
Ceiling recess mounting kits and ceiling surface mounting kits are available as separately purchasable
accessories and contain instructions for mounting the heater using these alternative methods.
FIRST USE:
Note that the Krystal heater has no inbuilt controls or on/off switch. As soon as it is connected to live mains,
it will heat up.
Make sure intended controls systems are in place and that power to the heater is OFF, when making final
connections.
The heater may emit a small odour in the first few minutes after initial power up. This is normal and will
stop after a few minutes.
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR:
The Herschel panel must be installed, uninstalled, cleaned or transported only when cold.
DO NOT
attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit. Doing so will void
your warranty.
Repairs must only be carried out by an authorised Herschel service partner.
CLEANING:
Before attempting to clean the panel, unplug the heater, isolate the unit from the electrical supply and allow
it to completely cool down.
DO NOT
immerse the Herschel panel heater in water or splash water onto it.
Clean the heater surface with a damp cloth. When clean, dry the surfaces with a dry cloth.
DO NOT
apply abrasive materials, solvents or solvent wipes to the surface as this can cause irreparable
damage.
Wait until the unit is completely dry before use.
DISPOSAL:
The heater is an electrical product and at the end of its working life it should be disposed of in accordance
with local regulations.
