PROBLEM
When trimming, the
trimmer head will
not advance line.
When trimming,
grass wraps around
trimmer head.
When trimming, the
line-cutting blade
on the guard cannot
cut the line

CAUSE
◾
The motor shaft or trimmer
head is bound with grass.
◾
There is not enough line on
the spool.
◾
Line is tangled in the
trimmer head.
◾
The line is too short.
◾
Cutting tall grass at ground
level.
◾
The line-cutting blade has
become dull.
SOLUTION
◾
Stop the machine, remove the
battery and clean the motor shaft or
the trimmer head thoroughly.
◾
Remove the battery and replace the
new cutting line, follow the section
"LINE REPLACEMENT" in manual
for EGO kit AH3810.
◾
Remove the battery, reload the
cutting line, follow the section "LINE
REPLACEMENT" in manual for EGO
kit AH3810.
◾
Remove the battery and pull the
lines while alternately pressing down
on and releasing the bump head.
◾
Cut tall grass from the top down,
removing no more than 8 inches
(20 cm) in each pass to prevent
wrapping.
◾
Sharpen the line-cutting blade with a
file or replace it with a new blade.
